STEFANO SEVERINI - about
Based in Vienna, Italian pianist, répétiteur and conductor Stefano Severini combines performance, collaboration and teaching in a deeply interconnected musical life. A prizewinner of the UK Liszt Society International Piano Competition (London, 2013), he performs across Europe and Russia, bringing a broad repertoire and a distinctive interpretive voice to his concerts.
Alongside his concert career, he works closely with singers and instrumentalists in opera, lied and chamber music. He also teaches piano and chamber music, combining performance experience with focused coaching—drawing on both the Italian conservatory tradition and a pedagogical master’s degree obtained in Switzerland.
In addition to his solo and ensemble work, Severini has deepened his artistic path through advanced studies in conducting technique, score analysis and opera piano reduction. Trained in Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Russia under distinguished mentors, he continues to refine his dual perspective as pianist and conductor. - read more
